Start early from Kathmandu to the border. Approx. 120km. Go through immigration formalities and continue to Nyalam (37km).

To reach Khakkarbhitta,a small town on the border of Nepal and India, we had to useit as many foreigners do to cross the border. It is located about an hour from Siliguri and four hours from Darjeeling in India, we left from Bagdogra early in the morning and on the way, stopped and had breakfast.

Bhutan was the first international bike riding trip, very exciting to cross India border was a thrill, paper work to cross border. After entering the border it was entirely a different feeling riding in a other country.

This was the first road trip to north india, Was very excited about the and how it is going to be.We were assisted by a very good friend of ours, Gautham, who runs a bike renting company for road trip enthusiasts like us to travel across international borders by road just for the thrill of it. The company is called ‘ADVENTURES LIMITED’.
